Infrastructure plays a key role in accelerating development and eradicating poverty by achieving rapid, sustainable and equitable economic growth. Infrastructure plays a significant role in ensuring that energy, transport and communication services required for economic and social development are provided in a standard and competitive manner, and that industrial development is expanded, thereby creating ample employment opportunities and benefiting the people. Infrastructure plays an irreplaceable role in ensuring sustainable development and since infrastructure is the foundation of a society, the society should protect it so that it provides the services it is intended for.
